Chris Sisarich started out with thoughts of an exotic garden, inspired mostly by paintings of 17th century artist 'Jan Brueghel the Elder', and in particular the image of the Garden of Eden. Chris aimed to create something that expressed purity whilst at the same time felt quite exotic.

The piece has been created by overlaying layers of composed photographs he shot at a variety of New Zealand locations. He used contemporary photographic techniques and ideas, with the intention of keeping the image simple and not feeling too manufactured.
